The 19A2 Alluvial Sluice Box has an aluminum “slick plate” for mixing of water and concentrates. These ribs help to break up the the material fully and catch the smallest flecks of gold. From the slick plate the material goes over the small ribbed matting for catching even smaller gold, (flour gold). What is left of the material then flows over another section of ribbed aluminum which creates more friction and another mixing area. This section also speeds up the flow rate in order to drop out any remaining pieces of gold in the next section of larger ribbed matting. The integrated water supply allows for a thin constant sheet of water to flow over ribbed matting.
The 19A2 Alluvial Sluice Box allows for larger sized material to be run, 12 mesh (1/8″) and up to 1/4″. This item comes with Tsunami pump and hanger, wire, and hardware for attaching the sluice to a standard 5 gallon bucket. The small compact size of the 19A2 makes it easy to use anywhere. It will fit nicely in a 5 gallon bucket, with plenty of room for the pump, hose and other tools.
The 19A2 measures 24” long, 12” wide with 3” tall sides, and weighs only 4lbs 6oz.
